Wabi-Sabi (侘寂)

(N.) a way of living that focuses on finding beauty within the imperfections of life and accepting peacefully the natural cycle of growth and decay

Wabi-Sabi is a spiritual sequel to my first album, Mono no Aware. It is a collection of pieces I wrote in the span of six years.

In essence, each piece tells the story of how I’ve experienced Wabi-Sabi in my life. If you listen to the album in its entirety, you will notice the colors and shades move from bright to dark, and dark to bright, with a touch of hope and surrender at the very end.

Music has always helped give meaning to even the most ordinary moments in my life, and I remember them better because of it. I hope listening to this music allows you to do the same - to find the meaning within the imperfections of life and accept it with peace.

It has been a tough year for many, and my wish is for this music to be a companion for those who need one. Thank you always for your support.
